Lanson

Represented by Hervé Dantan

Founded in 1760, Maison Lanson is one of the oldest Champagne houses. They are proud to have maintained their family traditions and independent organization, and to have remained faithful to the values that have guided them for 260 years.

Maison Lanson has always transcended borders producing Champagnes that are appreciated all over the world. Lanson is firmly rooted in France but remains driven to reach out to the four corners of the globe. Today, Lanson’s champagnes are enjoyed in more than 80 countries.

Lanson has strong historical partnerships with growers who share their pursuit of excellence. These historic relationships grant them access to more than one hundred different crus, 50% of which are Grand Crus and Premier Crus. They cultivate 57 hectares of their own land, 16 of which are run according to the principles of organic and biodynamic viticulture.

To perpetuate its signature quality, Maison Lanson has equipped itself with unique tools: 4 historic grape presses situated in the vineyards, along with other “cuveries” dedicated to the diversity of crus and a “chai bois” serving the reserve wines. These tools, between tradition and modernity, combined with the talent of the cellar master, results in wines of exceptional richness.

Lanson blends benefit from a wide range of crus, a rare collection of reserve wines, developed with prolonged aging. They vinify their vintages according to the original principles of Champagne, with minimal malolactic fermentation. Lanson wines are characterized by their elegance, freshness, vitality and ability to stand the test of time.
